Take the dreams that I tell to you Make them mean what you want them to Doves embody for me Making many memories They would ask if I was strong To keep my hands when another came alone I saw magic as a tangible possibility Oh, my hands have no such tie Oh, my hands have no such tie My only type was a tangible possibility Watch the water in my eyes Pick the thought that it might come from Choose the thought that seems the most like you They would ask was I strong enough To keep my hands when another came alone I saw magic as a means to her, my end

about

The forty-third release from Tendon Levey.
All music, lyrics and artwork improvised and executed by Tendon.

“As of April 2010, I hadn’t left the house since October. And there were no exceptions; not even a distance of ten feet beyond the door frame. Six months had broken all previous records for being confined to a single cell. It was difficult enough in 2009 to leave the house, but the added physical state had made it so much more frightening and there seemed nothing worth the risk of choking outdoors, in a place beyond reach of my sanctuary.

Longingly I would observe the neighborhood through the window, watching the children as they played; watching the bees as they flew from flower to flower. I grew increasingly desperate for a change in scenery, and so after spending the better part of three weeks standing bent over the kitchen sink with a cheek pressed against the glass, I finally decided to act on my envy in the month of April. I wish I could say that I was rewarded for my efforts, but this change of environment proved difficult on my system and I suffered an acute flair-up of throat-related problems likely having to do with an allergic response. Moreover, it turns out that my eyes could no longer tolerate the light of the sun and a moment outdoors was enough to lead to a temporary visual black-out. It is no wonder why, at this point: my preferential environment was clearly unsupportive of the natural retinal demands, and my eyesight had suffered as a result.

Still, I kept at it, seeking out ways of making it work. Thus I began going out when the sun was low. It was a success, and I had made it outside, but now what? Well, there was some grass, a porch, and a rope tree swing—the latter of which would incidentally become a notable pastime of the summer months. After mixing my songs and putting them on my MP3 player I would run outside all excited to listen to my music on the swing. It was one of two ways that I really got to experience them; to revel in them (the other being dancing before the bathroom mirror, like to give off an energetic live performance).”
