©ough©ool Amazing stuff. Tendon is the antifolk antihero. I am forever amazed by the vision involved with this music. Weird af & oddly catchy Favorite track: Ayl Iamth Ayl Ia.

Michael Benoit Easy pic for my favorite album by Tendon. This is some of the most original music I have ever heard. This album is so well written I find myself coming back to it time and time again.

Ryan i am astounded by tendon's inate ability to be so captivating. whether it's the earworm moments like 'lamaze', weirdo songwriting ala the residents such as 'criminal voltage', the serene 'studded apple', the disturbing 'true black tree thorn'. reading tendon's incredible backstory and listening to countertorch or any of the records on display here, it's hard not to get lost in this tortured hellhole with no signs of a return and wonder why you never made the plunge until now. Favorite track: Lamaze.
Gyarados

Gyarados A solid swan song (or should I say goat song?) to cap off a brilliant discography. RIP Goat Throat Favorite track: Idol Of Oils.
reppeptsohg

reppeptsohg Music so brutally human that it leaves me feeling weak and vulnerable. That is how I feel after listening to only a fraction of this immense catalog. Definitely not the opinion I expected to hold of music that initially drew me in with its alien and unnatural atmosphere. Favorite track: To Learn.

They will prey this plot line Cold day, who’s scared Who’s skinned who Make me warm and cut my light Mm, nervous you This netherkampf front Rolling back Most days grows the weakness I can’t fool my heart I’d go through rehab But I’ve got no part I know it’s found food in your hair And though you had been hungry For a year and hadn’t cared Until they told you what you were Some so different in the open air

I shrink and I curl To fit through the door to the world Of the girl I have been hoping for I stay where I stand In an ardent ambience by the pen [...] Then there’s the clue you’re fond of my soul Alive, only a goat in the resin I follow your cord and the light from the bullet fired (I follow your cord and the light from the bullet fired) (I follow your cord and the light from the bullet fired) (I follow your cord and the light from the bullet fired) (I follow your cord) I shrink and I curl To fit through the mouth of the spindly man I have been singing through Draw from the saints You can pray till you love my name Then there’s the clue you’re near to my heart Stray of the divine, you’ll be safe in the room, the room The heart I hid in starrier cities Staring from the servant’s gap Down the throat, the first that goes Fanciful confetti forms the rope

To Learn 01:47
Would you, could you tell me what you know There is nothing better than to learn Oh my lord, it is unalarming When you take my compass Quash it into bits
8.
Laugh Lines 01:27
Rolling around with you Healing the soul today Here in the soil we’ll be fulfilled Cause I’ve never known how to not look When someone calls me by the right name I’ve never known how to not give them a chance I’ve never know how to not laugh when another is laughing aloud
9.
Thirst from my whooping fits I sunk my sullen head You’ve betrayed my submission

Lamaze 02:01
Those malaised and delicate The very few Where outside women call To relish who’s who Convivial heart There to not move There to not pull through There in Lamaze Thirty-eight months All of them undue And though this day, this doom, this world will never end One waits true on end And what a horrible end, too And all their striving did cut in Is there any(one) worse off? Is there any(one) worse off? Is there any(one) worse off? Is there any(one) more in love? The dispassionate heart of them with no wound Of them with no spare room Where outside women call To relish who’s who Is there any(one) worse off? Is there any(one) worse off? Is there any(one) more in love?
12.
Your goat throat sucking on the root of any above Yet they’re funding for the rotten, awful dross I will be frothing, a wreck Shaking like a fallen, bursted plate Crooning over rodents, the rot, the rats They’ll know this song, per rule In doom I once was singing And from there I hummed this breath Hiss out in a “heh!” There will be incessant singing Even were the throat and the neck to refuse it (And the lungs)
13.
A new day—when the collar isn’t tight I’ll know new height

Idol Of Oils 03:19
I will dance when it’s likely I’ve torn the bandage off Knowing I’ll never have another friend as he I’ve seen you in dragon clothes Holding the audience by their soles When you held my gore and smiled We had bonded tight I’ve seen you in dragon clothes Holding the audience by their soles When you held my gore and smiled Scorn was then in kind It’s over now Though artfully drawn, you have waved away wearing out another’s glove Every but the longest fingers fold I will dance when it’s likely a stain is left instead Only by the gamy blood of his death
16.
You would have me so happy This is how years would happen Every note in conflation You fooled me that I have you This is how years would happen To hold a lone lover’s hand Every day was my own fault You fooled me You fooled me You fooled me You fooled me
17.
Mm, I climb her hologram, her hologram alight No one else can tell me where and who and if she is But sure I can assure them who and where and if she is Mm, I keep her hologram, her hologram on mine Sure I can assure you that she is beyond my heart Sure I can assure you that she is beyond my song And they’re saying “did you wait, did you wait?” I will look the whole world over, both outside and in One can never tell me where and who and if she is But sure I can assure them who and where and if she is I'll have her hand so firm in weakness Flares from a furnace restrained For who I imagine! For who I am mad!
